In this episode of the R/Strong Podcast, I break down our approach to training youth athletes. Our goal is to "build lifelong athletes" by giving the athletes the RIGHT training at the RIGHT time of their athletic development. What we DON'T DO, is train youth athletes like mini-adults.
On a related note, I also answer a question I received about how young athletes can start training with a barbell. As you might expect, the answer depends on several factors, IMO.
